I began having singing lessons when I was eighteen studying privately with teachers in Sydney before training at the Opera School at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Singing Competitions

I was a finalist in the Australian Singing Competition and in the Sydney Sun Aria before winning the inaugural German Operatic Award sponsored by Opera Foundation. As a result I spent a year working in the Opera Company in Cologne, Germany, singing minor principal roles in operas such as Die Fledermaus and Lohengrin, and working with repetiteurs on repertoire.
